Ryder Foix is a cinematographer/videographer and photographer based out of Texas

I started media in high school during 2019, and I particularly enjoy doing short films and documentaries. I’m graduating from Texas Tech University this August of 2026, with a bachelors of arts in Creative Media Industries and a certificate in motion picture production.

I began doing photography during college, and while I still have room to grow, I believe what I’m capable of right now is great.

A motto I live by in my productions is “find the story within the story”, taught to me by the man I consider my mentor, Ray Rush.

The work I’m most proud of is “The Orbit of Her Silence”, which was entirely shot by me and won two awards at TTU’s 2026 JCMIfest. This September, it will be shown at Lubbock’s Flatlands Film Festival as well.
